Noah Wyle just elevated his trophy game with his Golden Globe win for The Pitt. The award now sits proudly alongside his most treasured possession.
The actor took to Instagram to share his double delight, beaming with pride as his Golden Globe Best Actor award stood beside a touching tribute from his kids – a handmade “Best Dad Award”. Wyle bagged the prestigious recognition for Best Male Actor in a Television Series – Drama for his work on The Pitt.
“What an incredible night. My heart is full”, read the caption of the 54-year-old’s Instagram post.
Wyle seemed visibly emotional as he took the stage to accept the Golden Globe. “What a truly humbling moment this is. Oh, my goodness. I’m so incredibly grateful, and I don’t know how to say all my gratitude for 54 years in 60 seconds,” Wyle expressed. “I’m indebted to so many people. I’ve been inspired by so many people, many of whom I’ve got the great honor of being nominated with this evening” (via The Hollywood Reporter).
Wyle’s family was beaming with pride as he acknowledged them during his acceptance speech. “I’ve benefited from incredible teachers and I’ve received some incredible advice from some very good friends,” the ER actor said. “I’ve been supported by an incredible wife and three great children all along the way. I’m so grateful for this. …And to all the healthcare workers in the world, thank you.”
“Lastly, to my beautiful wife, Sara, happy birthday. I hope you’re enjoying your party”, concluded Wyle.
Wyle is a devoted dad to Owen, 23, and Auden, 20, from his previous marriage to Tracy Warbin, and little Frances, 10, with wife Sara Wyle. Reacting to the post, his wife commented, “The best ever”, proving he’s got a fan club at home too.
