After his ex-wife accused him of leaving California without his kids, actor Cam Gigandet has been ordered to pay additional child support. The Twilight star’s ex is Dominique Gigandet.
The couple married in 2008 and ended their union in 2022. They share three children, Everleigh, 16, Rekker, 12, and Armie, 9.
Cam Gigandet has to pay additional child support to ex-wife Dominique Gigandet

This past summer, Dominique accused Cam of moving to Texas and leaving the kids with her full time. She informed the court last June that Cam moved out of state on May 2, 2025. “So as of right now, I have 100 percent custody,” she said at the time.
Cam and Dominique initially agreed to shared custody of their children and reached a divorce settlement in June 2024. At that time, he agreed to pay spousal support based on his annual income.
According to Us Weekly, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge increased Cam’s monthly support payments from $4,626 to $5,540 on Wednesday, January 7. Although Dominique was at the hearing, court documents show that Cam was not in attendance.
In addition, the court ordered both parties to maintain health insurance. Cam will cover 70% of any unreimbursed health-related costs.
According to the court documents, Dominique’s income significantly varies each month. She listed her monthly expenses at about $5,870, with third parties providing approximately $4,000 of her expenditures. She describes herself as a self-employed graphic designer and spray tan artist in the court filing. She also clarified that, after her divorce, she’s “starting life over.”
Cam announced he and actress Hannah James were dating in early 2023. This past January 2, she posted a photo of their son on Instagram.
In addition to Twilight, Cam appeared in Burlesque, The Magnificent Seven and Easy A. He most recently had roles in Netflix’s The Hunting Wives and the TV show Second Chances.
