Rob Cesternino Reveals Why The Traitors Cast Need To Eliminate Michael Rapaport

Rob Cesternino is lending his voice to the masses. Like many, this Survivor icon hopes that Michael Rapaport is the next person eliminated on The Traitors Season 4.

Already a controversial figure, Michael isn’t making any fans this season. He is the literal poster child for a bad Faithful in this game. So, if he isn’t a Traitor, then why is Rob hopping for his downfall? Here’s the tea.

It’s time to say goodbye to Rob on The Traitors. After he correctly assumed that a murder in plain sight scenario might be in the works, the Traitors realized how smart he was. So, his name went on the short list for murder. Shortly after, he wound up in his faux Scottish grave.

Now, Rob is freely speaking about his time on this series. One of his main suggestions is for the remaining players to eliminate Michael. As Rob explained to Decider, Michael’s antics will cost everyone everything, all because he is one of the worst Faithfuls this series has ever seen.

“I think that the Faithfuls really need to get Michael Rapaport out of the equation, because I think that Michael Rapaport — even though I tried to tell anybody who would listen — is not a Traitor. I think that there would be addition by subtraction to taking him out of the mix, because you can’t have a productive conversation with Michael in the room,” Rob accurately stressed. As he added, sometimes, you have to remove a Faithful for these games to proceed.

“He’s somebody who, he’ll just sidetrack a conversation and start ranting about something that has nothing to do with what you’re talking about, and then everybody is just all worked up and out of sorts,” Rob said. And as he finally clocked, “The Traitors are using Michael Rapaport to really great effect,” since he is taking everyone’s focus away from the actual Traitors at hand.

Fans fully agree. For so many reasons, it’s time for Michael to leave.

The Traitors airs two new episodes on Thursday, January 15 at 9/8c on Peacock.
