Shaquille O’Neal is not afraid to woo the ladies even live on the air. The NBA legend recently gave an interview discussing his upbringing before becoming a basketball superstar.
Throughout the chat, the rapper and basketball analyst couldn’t help complimenting the reporter he was speaking with on her looks. In a not-so-subtle moment captured on video, the former four-time NBA champion said there was no manual on how to handle things in life. He then remarked on the reporter’s looks.

Always the charmer, Shaq Diesel appeared to be more interested in a reporter than in discussing his journey to basketball stardom. The 15-time NBA All-Star recently spoke with Fox 26 Houston reporter Jade Fleury about his roots in Houston. “There’s no manual on you being a young, gorgeous, African-American news anchor,” Shaq told her.
Jade, who graduated from the University of Houston in 2019, proceeded to ask him about his relationship status. The Olympic gold medallist declared, “I’m married to myself.” Shaq appeared to be enamored and flirty with her, adding, “Yeah, I’ll probably get married soon,” as he was staring at her.
Previously, Shaq was married to Shaunie Henderson from 2002 to 2011, and the couple have four kids together. A good portion of his interview with Jade seemed to revolve around his love life. When asked about the qualities he looked for in a dream woman, Shaq replied, “I just want her to be nice.” He says people are too picky in life, adding that someone who treats him with respect is enough for him.
Getting married again is an idea Shaq has talked about before. During an appearance on Andy Cohen Live on XM radio, the former basketball star pitched the idea of a reality dating show. His suggestion was to call it The Next Mrs. O’Neal.
There had been speculation that Shaq was dating OnlyFans model Sophie Rain. The basketball icon responded to these rumors by saying he would date her mom.
