Actress Teyana Taylor updated fans on a viral clip featuring Leonardo DeCaprio at this year’s Golden Globes ceremony. The One Battle After Another star clarified their interaction on the Wednesday, January 14 episode of The Tonight Show.
The Golden Globe winner was interviewed by Jimmy Fallon regarding the video. The clip of Leo laughing after making a bunch of lively facial expressions contrasts with his more low-key personality.

Teyana clarified during The Tonight Show interview that Leo was not speaking with her in the video on the ceremony’s TikTok page. This referred to her January 13 Access Hollywood interview. This is when Teyana said she discussed KPop Demon Hunters and “just jamming” with Leo while making crazy faces during the Globes.
Teyana has said her two daughters are big KPop Demon Hunters fans, so she was “really excited” when the movie took both the Best Motion Picture (Animated) and Best Original Song at the ceremony.
In discussing the viral clip, Teyana said, “So when I first seen it, I didn’t watch the whole thing. So I was like ‘Oh you’re talking about KPop Demon Hunters, he’s talking about me.’ But then I watched it and they was doing the lip-read thing and I had to call Leo. I was like, ‘You can’t be talking to me, were you talking to me?’ Because I already told people you was talking to me. So apparently he had two KPop Demon Hunter conversations that night, so KPop Demon Hunters was just in his mouth all night.”
She added, “And I’m like ‘Who else is you kekeing with like that?’ Because literally that’s how we talk, with animated gestures. So I had a little friendly jealousy, I was like ‘Who else are you chewing your invisible gum with?’ He didn’t even remember who he was talking to. He was like ‘I don’t even know.'”
