They believed that their mother did a great job, even though she was eliminated far too early. While Jason discussed how difficult it is to enter a show like an outsider, the brothers admitted that their mom’s performance was stronger than they expected.
Travis Kelce calls out mom after Traitors reveal
On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, Jason and Travis Kelce shared their thoughts on their mother Donna’s time on “The Traitors.” Reflecting on how entering the game show as an outsider makes one an easy target, Jason said, “I thought she did fantastic. Like, I know she was eliminated, but I think it’s really hard to go into those shows as, like, an outsider, that you become an easy target to try and maneuver in that show.”
Jason Kelce admitted that he loved watching his mother on the show. Moreover, he found her performance way more “devious and deceitful” than expected, which came as a surprise to him. Adding to Jason’s comments, Travis Kelce said, “She stood her ground at the round table.” Furthermore, he continued, “I was so proud of her, man. She looked like she was having a blast, enjoying it all. It was just so cool to see her in this moment.”
In a conversation with PEOPLE, Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, shared details on how her mother-in-law remained mum about her experience in “The Traitors.” She said, “She did not tell us much at all, which I respect, I respect. You’ve got to keep the mystery alive.”
Moreover, Kylie Kelce revealed that she hadn’t watched the series yet. She added that she was excited to go home and watch it after her Aspen trip. She admits that Donna not giving out information has already built up immense anticipation. “So I am 100% on board with her keeping everything a secret, even though I would have loved to have some inside scoop, but I’m so excited to watch it,” she further added.
