Mercedeh ‘MJ’ Javid and Tommy Feight may have only announced their split in October 2025, but there were already hints of trouble in their relationship. During the filming of The Valley: Persian Style, co-star Golnesa ‘GG’ Gharachedaghi could see the cracks in their marriage. She made a foreboding prediction months before the divorce announcement.
Golnesa Gharachedaghi eerily forecast Mercedeh Javid’s divorce from Tommy Feight
Golnesa spoke to Mercedeh during Sky Askari’s trunk show on the January 15 episode. She noticed Tommy was not present at the party and that Mercedeh was looking a bit forlorn. Golnesa asked where Tommy was, and Mercedeh replied that he was gonig to pick her up before quickly shifting the conversation by commenting on Golnesa’s jewelry.
Golnesa clocked the avoidance and asked, “How are you feeling in these group settings?” Mercedeh admitted that she would have liked her significant other to be there. This prompted Golnesa to press and asked if Mercedeh was feeling sad.
“There could have been a sad point, and then in order to survive through sad, you have to pivot to get somewhere else,” Mercedeh answered.
This made Golnesa wonder if Mercedeh was unhappy in her marriage. It’s something Vida Javid already told Tommy previously, too. “I think Mercedeh’s afraid to be alone,” Golnesa said. “She’s also very insecure. So maybe she’s thinking, how’s she going to find another guy to love her?”
“I’ll tell you something, that girl has been getting work done to her,” Golnesa disclosed. “And anytime one person in a marriage starts looking good, it’s a divorce coming.” She urged Mercedeh not to become numb to the situation or suppress anything but to also think about what’s best for her.
Golnesa’s prediction turned out to be 100% accurate. Mercedeh and Tommy announced their divorce in October. They finalized the custody and co-parenting for their son, Shams, by December. According to Mercedeh, the former couple is doing well and focusing on being good parents now.
