Donald Trump may be taking out his frustrations on Norway. Jonas Gahr Støre is the man on the receiving end of the President’s hate, according to a foreign affairs correspondent. Jonas is the Prime Minister of Norway.
Nick Schifrin published a message reportedly leaked between the President to the Norwegian leader. The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded in Norway’s capital, Oslo, every year. The fact that Donald didn’t receive the most recent honor surprised him. He allegedly voiced his displeasure with Jonas about being snubbed for the award.

Not giving Trump, the Peace Prize could have devastating consequences for Scandinavia, especially Greenland. That’s assuming DJT’s letter to Jonas was legit. Nick says he obtained the reported interaction between the two leaders from multiple officials. Not getting the prize seems to have left a bitter taste in the President’s mouth.
The message Nick published alleges that Donald is telling the Norwegian that, since his country didn’t give him the Peace Prize despite reportedly ending eight wars, he will no longer be obliged to prioritize peace. That said, the message states this will still be an obligation. The message also addressed the situation in Greenland, saying, “Denmark cannot protect that land from Russia or China, and why do they have a “right of ownership” anyway?”
It goes on to read that DJT has done more for NATO than anyone since its founding. In conclusion, the message reads that the world will not be secure unless the US has “Complete and Total Control of Greenland.”
While he wasn’t named the Nobel Peace Prize winner in 2025, María Corina Machado, the Venezuelan opposition leader gifted Donald the prize last week. It’s unlikely that it will go down as Trump being the official winner though. Regulations state the honor is non-transferable.
María praised the President for his actions in her homeland, which included the capture of President Nicolás Maduro.
