Trump was spotted in the VIP section of the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, along with his daughter Ivanka and several of his grandkids.

During the game, Trump stood up for a beautiful rendition of the “Star-Spangled Banner” by American Idol star Jamal Roberts. Amidst the cheers, the President also received some boos from the crowd when he appeared on the stadium screen.

The President was also joined by Kai Trump, the daughter of his eldest son Don Jr., as well as his daughter-in-law Lara Trump and former daughter-in-law and Kai’s mother, Vanessa Trump. White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum were also seated in the private booth.

The White House had previously confirmed that Donald Trump would be enjoying the game in person. Accordingly, local authorities had taken firm security measures to welcome the President. Showing his support for the game, Trump gave an official statement, saying, “Melania and I congratulate the Indiana Hoosiers and the Miami Hurricanes on making it to the College Football Playoff National Championship.”

He added, “God bless the talented players and dedicated coaches, the families who love and support them, and the faithful fans who cheer them on. May the best team win!”
