Global pop icon Katy Perry recently made a luminous debut in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She was there for the sixth edition of the star-studded Joy Awards 2026. As part of Riyadh Season, the singer dominated the evening with a series of high-fashion ensembles that combined avant-garde technology with local culture. Her presence on the lavender carpet and stage marked her first-ever performance in the Kingdom. It made a lasting impression on fans and fashion critics alike as she wore a light-up feather coat.

While she opened the ceremony performing her biggest hits in a champagne-gold Giuseppe Di Morabito pantsuit, Perry’s presenting look truly stole the spotlight. She donned the “Pimp Jacket” by Clara Daguin. It features 4,000 handcrafted feathers illuminated to shimmer like a constellation.
The voluminous, glowing silhouette was paired with exquisite Chopard dangling diamond earrings and metallic BETZÁBE heels. Earlier that evening, she graced the lavender carpet in a “Mother of Pearl” couture gown. It is by a Saudi designer, Waad Aloqaili, styled by Heather Picchiottino with a sleek bun.
