Lively, who sued Baldoni over an allegation of sexual harassment, has exchanged quite a few texts with Swift about the director of the movie, which is now being submitted in court as part of the ongoing legal battle.

Blake Lively allegedly calls Justin Baldoni ‘stupid’ after power play in Taylor Swift texts — report

While Taylor Swift is reportedly not directly involved in the film It Ends With Us, she supported her friend Blake Lively, who allegedly called her movie’s costar and director Justin Baldoni “stupid” after a power play. The bombshell texts are now being submitted in court as part of the ongoing legal battle between the costars.

According to the Daily Mail, it was Baldoni who bought the rights to Colleen Hoover’s book, It Ends With Us. However, Sony eventually released Lively’s version of the film over the allegations about his on-set behavior.

“For instance, in April 26, 2024 messages, Lively and Swift discussed a plan to use Swift’s song in the film’s trailer,” Baldoni’s lawyers wrote.

“Swift wrote: “If Justin was strategic He would be like no Taylor swift in the trailer. Because that gives you more power over the film, that’s your ally not his.”

To this, “Lively responded: “You are so right… He should’ve run from your music… How stupid. This was his only shot at having the appearance of an upper hand.”‘

In addition, as per the documents, in texts on December 4 and 5, 2024, the two also discussed the forthcoming New York Times article, which detailed in depth claims of Lively against her costar.

According to the court papers, Swift wrote: “I think this b**** [Baldoni] knows something is coming because he’s gotten out his tiny violin.”

Although her lawyers said Lively and Swift were not discussing the New York Times article, they did not dispute that the text was correct.
