With the Beckham family row hogging the headlines of most media outlets in recent days, Billy Bush has come out to share his two cents on the drama involving Brooklyn, his wife Nicola Peltz, and his mother Victoria. The renowned radio and television host opened up about the plight of the eldest son of David Beckham in a recent interview, wherein he compared Brooklyn’s situation to that of Prince Harry.
Here’s what Billy Bush said about Brooklyn Beckham family fallout
During a recent conversation, the veteran media personality likened the eldest Beckham child’s current predicament to that of the Duke of Sussex.
“There’s all kinds of items out there where you can see that maybe they didn’t love Nicola, or they didn’t embrace Nicola. And Brooklyn is in a terrible spot,” Billy Bush said while speaking with Fox News Digital.
“You know what spot he’s in? The same spot as Prince Harry. I mean, it’s almost identical, right? Not talking to his father, not talking to his brother, in this case, brothers for Brooklyn. Total fallout. The only difference is mom. The role of mom, who seems to be the focus of Brooklyn’s ire. It’s sad. And there’s probably a little bit of truth on both sides,, and we live in a world where two things cannot be true at the same time,” Bush added.
Much like Brooklyn Beckham, Prince Harry experienced a similar fallout with the British royal family following his marriage to Meghan Markle in 2018.
“Like with Harry, you always hold a small little space, a little percentage that maybe they’ll reconcile down the road, and perhaps that’s sadly in divorce. Who knows, it looks like if Brooklyn Beckham stays married to Nicola Peltz Beckham for eternity, the chances they heal are probably not great,” Bush exclaimed.
Despite his concerns for Brooklyn, Billy Bush believes that the Beckham family can recover from this scandal by recouping internally. “I think the Beckham brand ought to lay low for a minute, regroup, kind of look at each other and say, ‘What’s going on here? What are we doing?’ How important is our oldest son to this unit,'” the ex-Access Hollywood correspondent remarked.
