Melania Trump is front and centre for a rare occasion and doesn’t want to share the spotlight with her step-daughter. Ivanka Trump has been present for many of her father’s big moments, including his inauguration last year.
The First Lady is set to premiere her new documentary Melania later this month. The story will chronicle the first 20 days leading up to Donald Trump’s second term as President. Don’t expect to see much, if any, of Ivanka in the film. Reports suggest Melania has essentially edited Ivanka out entirely, leaving her “hurt,” though not surprised. A source says it’s Melania’s way of drawing a line and now Ivanka “knows her place.”
Melania Trump’s movie premiere excluded Ivanka from proceedings

Not only are you unlikely to see Ivanka on screen in Melania, but she’ll be absent for the premiere at the Kennedy Center. That’s according to a source who told Rob Shuter’s Substack Naughty But Nice, “It’s Melania, front and center, no interruptions.”
It was said that there were plenty of scenes featuring Ivanka that didn’t make the movie’s final cut. Among them reportedly are one in which Ivanka repeatedly tells her step-mom to speak English, and one in which the First Lady allegedly keeps calling her Yvonne.
While Ivanka may not be present for the movie’s opener, there could be plenty of other celebrities on hand. The President has hinted that Jeff Bezos, Lauren Sanchez, Wayne Gretzky, and his wife Janet may all attend. He claims that everybody wants tickets to the event.
Ivanka hasn’t gotten a lot of love from her family, it seems lately. In October, her brother Eric mentioned her in a new memoir. He said that Ivanka always blamed him and his brother, Donald Trump Jr. for virtually every mistake as kids.
The first look at the movie will take place at the Kennedy Center on January 29. It comes out officially the following day.
