Karoline Leavitt Attacks Journalist After Fact-Checking Donald Trump

Donald Trump isn’t the only one who has issues with reporters. His press secretary is coming to the aid of her boss. Trump has taken a lot of heat during his time in Switzerland, as he is among the world leaders speaking at the World Economic Forum.

He was called out online by a reporter in an apparent mix-up between two European nations. Karoline Leavitt took exception to the fact-check done against the President, while firing back at one reporter on the matter.

Donald Trump mixed up Greenland and Iceland on the world stage

Another female reporter is being hated on for calling out Donald Trump. This time, however, it’s not Donald taking issue with it. On X, White House correspondent Libbey Dean said Trump mixed up Greenland and Iceland on three occasions. Karoline responded to the tweet, telling Libbey that Donald’s remarks referred to Greenland as a piece of ice. She went on to tell her, “You’re the only one mixing anything up here.”

The press secretary then attached a photo showing icy waters from Greenland. In his speech, Trump says he knows they’d be there for them, while continuing, “They’re not there for us on Iceland, I can tell you.” He adds that the stock market recently took a dip because of Iceland. At the forum, Trump previously said he wouldn’t take Greenland by force. He did, however, state his desire to have control of the nation.

Karoline, like her boss, has a history of attacking the press. She was asked if ICE agents acted erratically during the controversial shooting of Renee Nicole Good. The press secretary snapped, calling the reporter someone who’s biased with left-wing opinions. She also said this person was not a reporter but just someone posing as a journalist.

Her boss has gone on his share of rants against the press, calling a reporter “Piggy” to bashing a New York Times columnist who said the President was dealing with fatigue.
