Yet another journey to sobriety has begun for Andy Dick. The troubled comedian has been in and out of rehab centres, often unsuccessfully battling drug and alcohol addiction. The former NewsRadio actor has been in and out of over a dozen facilities in his life to try and get clean.
In December, he was discovered slumped over on some cement stairs and unresponsive. Fortunately, a medical team was able to arrive and rescue him before he might have lost his life, counteracting the drugs in his system at the time. He was given Narcan to reverse the effects of opioids, which he had at the time. Andy went to rehab again following the scare.
Andy Dick overdosed less than two months ago

After 50 days in rehab, it’s up to Andy to see if he can ditch his drug habit once and for all. The star of The Andy Dick Show told TMZ that he’s left rehab and is currently living at a sober facility near Beverly Hills.
Prior to his release, he checked into a clinic in the Palm Springs area with the help of Jennifer Gimenez and her husband, Tim Ryan. Jennifer and Andy know each other from the Celebrity Rehab spinoff Sober House. Andy is said to be grateful for the help and support the pair have given him through this difficult time. It’s reportedly been motivating him to get well for good.
In spite of all his drug and alcohol problems through the years, Andy made a shocking confession last month. He said that he doesn’t mind doing crack every once in a while. Upon seeing him slumped over and unresponsive in early December, an eyewitness thought Andy was dead. The next day, Andy said he was fine.
Andy’s last film credit was a cameo appearance as The Bunny King in the 2021 movie entitled The Wet Ones. His self-titled sketch comedy program ran for three seasons in the early 2000s.
