Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is certainly missing the days when he was pampered Prince Andrew. Since being stripped of all his royal titles and honors, he must feel very isolated.
Not only has his staunchest supporter, ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, abandoned him, but now it’s rumored his daughters are avoiding him. Furthermore, King Charles served an eviction notice on his younger brother nearly three months ago. And moving date is fast approaching.
When the former prince visited his much smaller new home at Sandringham estate recently, he reportedly didn’t look very happy.
2026 is the year of change for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor

Rather than the huge 31-room Royal Lodge where he currently resides, Andrew’s new digs are much smaller. Described as an aging and run-down property, Marsh Farm is more of a family home than the palaces he’s used to.
The home itself contains only five bedrooms, with two reception rooms, a kitchen, and several outbuildings. Sadly, the property is reportedly in need of extensive refurbishment.
On the day Andrew visited his new home, which he’s scheduled to occupy sometime in the next month, he was probably shocked by what he saw. He was there to measure windows for curtains and to see what renovations may be needed.
“It was the first time he’s seen his new house, and he is resigned to the fact that this is his future,” a source told The Sun. “He’s come to the conclusion that he has to get on with the rest of his life and … make the best of it.”
Apparently, work is underway to prepare the smaller property, while moving vans have been emptying Royal Lodge for weeks. Extra security and six-foot fences have been installed to prepare for the disgraced royal’s arrival.
Meanwhile, a neighbor shared that Marsh Farm is quite a “downgrade” from his former home. “Even this place is too good for him — it’s still not bad for exile, is it?” they said. “There’s barely any drive. He’ll be right on the road. He won’t get much peace.”
It’s believed that Andrew will move in before his 66th birthday on February 19.
