Judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Lilith are returning for The Great American Baking Show: Celebrity Big Game special, which will be streaming on the free, ad-supported streaming service Roku soon. In this second installment of the show, the tent will be welcoming four new contestants — Antonio Gates from the Los Angeles Chargers, Julian Edelman from the New England Patriots, Von Miller from the Washington Commanders, and Mina Kimes who is an NFL analyst for ESPN. This special episode, based on the popular Great British Baking Show reality series, will air a week before Super Bowl LX.

The 2026 episode for The Great American Baking Show: Celebrity Big Game is scheduled to release on Roku on February 1, 2026.
Similar to last year’s version of the Roku Original, the four celebrity contestants will face off against each other in the typical trio of challenges in the tent: the signature, the technical, and the showstopper. They will be vying to win the coveted Star Baker crown.
Prue Leith shared in the trailer for the show that she believes the contestants this year will have want it takes to perform well in the challenges. “I expect our bakers will do really well,” she said. “It suits their character. They do what they’re told, they follow the recipe — that’s the competitiveness of them.”
That said, some of the contestants are not as confident in their baking skills. At one point in the trailer, Miller admits that he has “never baked in my life,” while Kimes says, “I have been baking. Ish.” Still, she hopes to impress tough judge Paul Hollywood, who she dubbed “Mr. Blue Steel” due to his blue eyes.
This will likely be one of the last times we see Leith on Great British Bake-Off or any spin-off series of it, as she announced her retirement from the show last week.
The show’s Big Game Day special for 2025 is still available on Roku as well. It featured five contestants including Amy Smart, Katie Nolan, Tony Gonzalez, DK Metcalf, and Arik Armstead.
