The Super Bowl hype is in full swing, with plenty of big ads on the horizon. Ben Stiller will be among the sure-to-be countless celebrities featured in a commercial on the day of the big football spectacle. He’ll be partnering with singer/songwriter Benson Boone in the ad, doing backflips among other things.
The Zoolander star will be seen in a spot for Instacart, a delivery and pickup service affiliated with hundreds of retailers. As with many big names on the day of the Super Bowl, you’ll see Ben in a very different way for 30 seconds.

One of Ben Stiller’s hidden talents will be revealed on February 8th. People reports that his Instacart commercial will air during the first quarter of the Super Bowl on US television. If you’re watching the game in Canada, you’ll view it in the second quarter.
The spot titled Bananas will see Ben turning banana preferences into full-blown disco drama. You’ll get to see the actor singing and dancing in the commercial. You’ll see Ben and Benson as a European disco-pop duo whose partnership unravels during a mid-performance debacle.
There will be a 60-foot glittering stage in the background of the commercial with orange and green LED lights. Then you’ll hear Ben and Benson harmonizing on how to choose the perfect bananas. It’s all a part of Instacart’s new feature called the Preference Picker. The duo’s singing eventually turns into a full-blown rivalry.
It’s a commercial that Ben surely won’t regret, unlike a recent thing he discussed. In October, Ben shared the worst decision he’s made, one that includes his daughter, Ella. This came during the making of the movie The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
His upcoming Super Bowl ad will be directed by Spike Jonze, marking his first commercial for the big game in two decades. This year’s Super Bowl features the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
