According to a report by US Weekly, prosecutors recently filed legal documents listing four charges against Alaia. It included simple battery, simple assault, battery, and criminal trespass. They identify the victim as Jacinto Hills. Alaia allegedly became violent, striking the “victim in the genitals.”

They also claim that she threw the tampon at the said victim. Moreover, they alleged that she pulled and removed some of Ian O’Neill’s hair, in violation of Georgia law. After being accused of assault and battery, Justin Bieber’s sister-in-law was arrested at Club Elan in Georgia in February 2024. The prosecutors also claim that before the arrest, Alaia was told to exit the premises but refused to do so. If she is found guilty of the charges, she could face up to one year in prison.

A Page Six report from 2024 further detailed the incident. As per the police report, bartender Haleigh Cauley revealed that he permitted Alaia to use the bathroom when she told him she needed a few minutes to change her tampon. The report further stated, “A few minutes later, when Ms. Cauley again entered the restroom, the female removed her tampon and threw it at Ms. Cauley. This is when security stepped in and removed the female from the club.”

Before the bouncers made their way to escort her out, the footage showed Cauley attempting to jump his way back out of the bathroom. When she was escorted, she tried to fight and resist “the entire way outside.” However, the report claimed that footage clearly showed her causing physical harm to the bouncers.

Alaia reportedly gave a different story to the authorities. She said she didn’t force her way into the bathroom and only wanted to change her tampon and vomit. She denied throwing a tampon at Cauley and claimed she was acting in self-defense when questioned about the alleged physical altercation with bouncers, per the report.
