Harry Styles doesn’t appear to be getting along with his old bandmates. One Direction were one of the most successful boy bands of all-time with over 70 million records sold worldwide. Since parting ways over a decade ago, their lead singer has continued to soar, putting out numerous hit songs, including Sign of the Times.
Even amid all his success, he’s still keen to be the best at any cost, even upstaging his former bandmates to remain at the top. That attitude has apparently created some tensions.

When One Direction went their separate ways, any loyalty Harry had to them in the business may have left, too. His former colleague in the band, Louis Tomlinson recently released his new album entitled How Did I Get Here? At issue for him is the fact that Harry dropped the first single of his new album, Aperture, on that same day.
For many, that move by Harry is a clear sign of how cutthroat he is. Shortly after Harry’s new song came out, Louis pleaded with fans on X to help him cut through the noise and give his record the moment it deserves. For see that as a subtle shot at Harry.
An insider tells The Daily Mail that Harry doesn’t care about the past or the good times he in One Direction. “They (Harry and Louis) are not friends. Yes, they will forever be bonded by the band, and all that happened, but that is in the past.” That’s seems to contradict Louis’s thoughts earlier this month slightly. In an interview, Louis said One Direction was closer than ever since the tragic death of Liam Payne.
Sources say that the last thing Louis wanted was to compete with Harry on his big album release. They add that he had no knowledge that Harry would drop his single that same day. Insiders believe that there’s no way the band would ever perform again on stage, even after Liam’s tragedy.
Liam’s album is now available, while Harry’s new album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally officially comes out on March 6.
