Kanye West ‘Not Welcome’ at Grammys 2026 Amid Apology Statement — Source

Kanye West — now known as Ye — is trying to turn a new leaf, but the doors to the 2026 Grammys have reportedly been shut on him. Despite issuing a public apology earlier this week to clear the air, insiders claim the Recording Academy has banned him from the ceremony. Organizers allegedly made it clear that his recent statement hasn’t changed their minds.

Source claims ‘Grammys will never give Kanye West tickets again’ amid apology statement

A source close to Kanye West’s inner circle told The Sun that he will not be invited to the 2026 Grammys. As such, the situation is reportedly absolute. The insider claimed, “The Grammys will never give Kanye tickets again,” as “he is not welcome.”

Notably, the ban is in sharp contrast to West’s efforts to fix his image. On Monday, he took out a full-page ad in The Wall Street Journal. He published a letter where he expressed deep regret for his past outbursts.

West also touched upon losing his way and treating people he loved poorly. He stated, “I regret and am deeply mortified by my actions in that state, and am committed to accountability.”

Additionally, he asked the public for patience as he tries to find his way back. But sources claim that the bridge with the Grammys is already burned. The friction seems to stem from a history of unpredictable behavior. This includes a controversial appearance on the red carpet last year with his wife, Bianca Censori, which reportedly upset the event’s organizers.

While the source noted that “it’s unlikely he will try to crash this year,” they admitted that with West, “you never know.” Another insider backed this up, confirming Ye wasn’t sent an invitation.

So, while the rest of the music world heads to the Crypto.com Arena this Sunday for the 2026 Grammys ceremony, Kanye West will be elsewhere. He is moving ahead with concerts in Mexico and preparing to release his new album, “Bully.” His seat at the awards show is reportedly gone for good.
