There’s no love lost between Nicki Minaj and Don Lemon. She has been mercilessly attacking the journalist for speaking in support of the protests in St. Paul. The singer who claims to be Donald Trump’s #1 fan blasted Don for live-streaming one of those protests in the aftermath of the controversial shooting deaths of two people from Minnesota. ICE agents killed Renee Nicole Good earlier this month in the area after she was deemed to be a domestic terrorist. Border Patrol agents shot and killed a nurse named Alex Pretti for similar reasons.
The famed journalist is continuing to get hate for his views of the protests with Nicki using more vulgar language against him.

Nicki isn’t holding back her true feelings about Don. On The Katie Miller podcast earlier this week, she was asked her thoughts after the former CNN journalist called Nicki racist, homophobic and unhinged. Nicki continued her tirade against him saying “C*ck sucker stop.”
That isn’t the first time she’s used such colorful language to describe him. Nicki used homophobic slang on X earlier this month when Don live-streamed a protest in Minnesota. Nicki had previously called for the journalist to be arrested. She got her wish as Don was detained on Thursday evening while attending a church protest in St. Paul.
Don’s lawyer has spoken out following the arrest, saying there was no basis for it. He adds that it violates the First Amendment. US Attorney General Pam Bondi said that the arrest was made at her direction.
The House Minority Leader, Hakeem Jeffries, has also condemned Don’s arrest and called for him to be released immediately. Don is openly gay, officially coming out in 2011 in his memoir Transparent.
