Tom Cruise is being paired to Meg Ryan, sources suggest
According to RadarOnline.com, Tom Cruise’s friends have begun quietly nudging him toward Meg Ryan, his former co-star and longtime friend. The push comes eight months after Cruise’s reported brief romance with de Armas ended. It was following a Valentine’s Day date in London last year. That relationship drew attention for its age gap and whirlwind nature. However, some sources claim Cruise is now open to something steadier and more private.
Reports previously described Cruise’s romance with de Armas as fast-moving, filled with luxury dinners and private jet cruises. By late summer, however, the pair decided to remain friends, a decision that reportedly left Cruise “bruised but reflective.” Those close to him say the experience prompted the actor to reassess what he wants after such relationships espcially the three divorces.
Friends now believe Ryan could be a natural fit. A source claimed, “There’s a growing feeling among people who know them well that Tom and Meg are unusually well matched, not just on paper but emotionally, too.” Further adding that friends in both circles have been gently creating opportunities for the two to spend more time together. They are stressing that everything remains low-key for now.
“It’s all very low-key at the moment, but there’s a shared sense that this is a pairing that actually makes sense, which is why so many people are quietly rooting for it to happen.” Cruise and Ryan first crossed paths while working on Top Gun, meeting at the very start of their careers. Although they didn’t work together like that, they stayed connected through overlapping social circles and such. For now, nothing is official.
