It’s been three years since Meri Brown walked away from Kody Brown. And now, this Sister Wives star is finally “happy” with a new boyfriend.
Meri and Kody tied the knot in April 1990. As fans know, their marriage was the only legally binding one on this cast. That is, until Robyn Brown came along. In 2014, Kody and Meri divorced, granting Kody the rights to adopt Robyn’s children.
And now, Robyn is his only wife left standing. As for Meri, she’s currently dating a guy named Ron. And unlike Kody, Ron sees and loves Meri just as she is.
Meri Brown met her new boyfriend while speed dating
During last night’s Sister Wives One-on-One special, Meri revealed that she is finally “happy.” Her new man is “Ron,” and he’s “a really cool guy, very comfortable. I’m very comfortable hanging out with him,” Meri said.
However, Meri is doing her best to keep their love story safe and under wraps. But she did tell their host, Sukanya Krishnan, “Ron and I are building this really cool friendship. It’s really cool. I really love that I can be myself around him. I literally can just be myself around him.”
As for how Meri met her new boyfriend, their connection formed during a speed-dating event in Season 20. And for now, these two have decided to take things slowly. However, Meri can easily envision a future with Ron.
“Have you looked at him? He’s cute,” Meri teased. “I’m very comfortable with him, and I enjoy spending time with him.”
But here’s the real tea. As Meri explained, “Ron and I don’t date. Ron and I hang out and enjoy each other’s company.” Realizing she had already said a lot, Meri next joked, “I’m going to have to ask Ron how he feels about this conversation.”
