Ex-Prince Andrew’s Daughters Feel This Way About Him — Expert

Members of the York family appear to be navigating a delicate, increasingly complicated dynamic with Prince Andrew‘s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. It is reported that they are taking noticeably different approaches to their relationship with their father. Royal commentators say recent public sightings and absences suggest the sisters are not aligned in how they choose to support him, even as the family adjusts to major personal and logistical changes behind palace walls.

Ex-Prince Andrew’s daughters ‘taking different positions’ about him, says expert

Last week, Prince Andrew was spotted out riding near his Windsor home. He was accompanied by Princess Beatrice and her young daughter, Sienna Mapelli Mozzi. The outing marked a rare public moment for the former Duke of York and immediately drew attention from royal watchers.

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said Princess Beatrice’s recent outing with Andrew was far from accidental. The York family is navigating increasingly “complicated” internal dynamics. “It would seem that the two daughters are taking different positions on supporting their father.” Bond explained. “Beatrice must have known she would very probably be seen out riding with him, so we can take this as an open show of loyalty.”

Bond added that Beatrice, as the older daughter, may feel a stronger sense of responsibility toward her parents. This was when she described the period as a difficult emotional time. In contrast, Princess Eugenie has reportedly maintained a lower profile. She has not been publicly seen with his father for some time. This fuelled reports that their relationship is more strained.

Observers point out that both sisters have, in recent years, chosen to live largely independent lives, focusing on their own families and careers. While they have made efforts to stay close to the wider Royal Family, their interactions with their parents have been notably limited. Prince Andrew currently resides at Royal Lodge in Windsor. Sources describe his lifestyle as increasingly quiet and solitary. However, that chapter may soon close. Reports suggest he is preparing to relocate to a smaller residence on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
