Gisele Bundchen Excludes Ex Tom Brady in 2016 Post, Says She ‘Loved Deeply’

Gisele Bundchen, ex Tom Brady, was absent, as she wrote, “Sometimes it’s good to slow down.” The former Victoria’s Secret Angel joined the “2026 is the new 2016” trend. She posted a photo dump of kids, travel, and work moments.

While the memories were packed, her former NFL husband did not appear. Instead, the carousel stayed on family snapshots and personal milestones.

According to a Daily Mail report dated February 2, 2026, Bundchen shared 2016 images without the retired quarterback. The trend has been moving across TikTok and Instagram. She captioned the post, “Sometimes it’s good to slow down, look back, and notice how far we’ve come.” Then she added that 2016 “shaped me in ways I didn’t fully understand at the time.” Meanwhile, she included photos of her son Benjamin and her daughter, Vivian.

However, her caption framed 2016 as a personal checkpoint. She wrote, “There were highs and lows.” Then she added, “I prayed with my whole heart, learned as I went, and loved deeply.” She also highlighted the “honor of representing Brazil at the Olympic Opening Ceremony.” Then she recalled “watching Vivi do her own little runway walk the next day.” Later, she mentioned planting “my first tree with the kids” and time with Jane Goodall. She also cited trips to the Amazon and Teotihuacan’s pyramids.

Even so, the Brady era sat in the background of the post. Bundchen and the New England Patriots legend were married from 2009 to 2022. They share Benjamin, Vivian, and his eldest son, Jack. In addition, the report said she married jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente and welcomed a baby boy. She has not shared the child’s name publicly.

Meanwhile, Brady has been linked to model Irina Shayk. After the split, she wrote, “The decision to end a marriage is never easy.” Ultimately, her 2016 recap read like a clean reset, with gratitude, family, and forward motion.
