A landmark event in American history is being questioned by none other than Nicki Minaj. The Queen of Rap doesn’t shy away from sharing her thoughts, no matter how polarizing or controversial they might be. Publicly supporting Donald Trump has been among the big things she’s been preaching lately.
Evidently, though, Nicki is also big on conspiracies. She recently shared her thoughts about one notable event that still has people talking decades later.
Nicki Minaj wonders if humans really did land on the moon
Apparently, not all Trump supporters see eye to eye on everything. Elon Musk believes the moon landing and walking on the moon happened. Nicki, however, refuted that notion, telling The Katie Miller Podcast, “No, I don’t think we landed on the moon.”
According to NASA, Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong landed the Eagle lunar module in the Sea of Tranquillity. Neil reportedly took the first steps on the moon at 2:56 UTC on July 21, 1969. The thought on whether the moon walking took place has often led people to be divided. Some believe it could have been made up, while others believe it occurred.
Aside from her theory, Nicki explained why she’s been such a staunch advocate for Trump. “When I saw how he was being treated over and over and over, I just couldn’t handle it,” she says. Nicki attended an event earlier this year about Trump accounts. The singer pledged between $150,000 and $300,000 to help fund an initiative to support Americans under 18.
While she has been loyal to a fault to Donald, she’s had some vicious verbal attacks on Don Lemon. The outspoken journalist, since the ICE attacks, has been a target for Nicki, who has made homophobic slurs against him multiple times. Don, who is openly gay, was arrested last week in a move he believed was to try to embarrass him.
