According to lip reader Nicola Hickling, Justin Bieber snapped at Hailey at the red carpet of the Grammys 2026. During the pose, the “Baby” singer was seen putting his hands in his pockets while gazing at the camera. On the other hand, the businesswoman placed her hand on her hips while holding his husband’s hand. Hickling claimed to The Mirror that Justin said, “Don’t grab me”, as his wife attempted to maintain the grip.
Another body language expert, Patti Wood, claimed the dynamic between the pair was “highly posed”. She told Elite DAILY that a lot of “nonverbal communication” was happening on the carpet. The expert claimed that the pair taking pictures individually and together had some significance. She stated, “By separating, they showed that they wanted to appear as individuals, as their own people.” The author further added, “Their faces showed boredom and nonchalance, while their poses were still attention-grabbing. The body language expert also felt that the duo’s demure facial expressions could have been “sign of curating their public image because of what’s going on in world.” Nevertheless, Wood observed the pair had a good time at the event. She exclaimed, “It was played up for the camera. They made a choice to show the public only one side of themselves.” However, “off the carpet, it was clear they were having a good time with each other and were able to be more playful with their friends.”
