A well-known actor from a classic movie franchise can breathe a little easier. Daniel Stern has made numerous appearances as a supporting character in movies, but his most well-known might still be Home Alone. He portrayed one of two villains in the first two instalments of that film, Marv, with his partner in crime, Harry, played by Joe Pesci.
On Friday, a legal case against the City Slickers actor was officially dismissed.
Daniel Stern was booked for allegedly trying to hire a prostitute

Daniel Stern will not have to go to court on allegations of soliciting prostitution. The voice of Kevin Arnold’s older self on The Wonder Years got a misdemeanour citation in December. It stemmed from an alleged prostitution sting in Ventura County, California.
Daniel’s attorneys were on hand Friday in court to hear to good news. A representative for the Ventura County District Attorney told TMZ that Daniel “completed his education class and earned a dismissal.” They say that’s the standard disposition for a first-time prostitution offence.
It broke last month that Daniel reportedly tried to hire an escort at a hotel in Camarillo, California. He and wife Laure Mattos have three children, including a son, Henry, who is a Senator in California.
News of this case dismissal comes one week after the tragic news that Home Alone actress Catherine O’Hara had died. The Schitt’s Creek co-star had trouble breathing last week in Brentwood. Upon hearing the news, the star of the first two Home Alone movies, Macaulay Culkin, paid tribute to the woman who played his mother in those films on Instagram. She was 71.
Daniel will play Jerry Schiff in the upcoming movie Everything’s Peachy, which is currently in pre-production.
