Jimmy Kimmel bashed President Donald Trump for his insensitive comments over the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti by ICE agents. He questioned how Trump could weigh in on the matter when he didn’t even know the people who were shot personally. He further urged him to keep his opinions to himself. Kimmel also responded to one of Trump’s remarks that the protesters were not “angels.” He reminded him that Jeffrey Epstein was his best friend.
Jimmy Kimmel criticises Donald Trump over his new comments
President Trump’s comments about the two primary killings in Minnesota didn’t sit well with Kimmel, who instantly criticized him for his insensitive remarks. He said publicly, “You don’t know anything about those people. How dare you weigh in on what they were and what they weren’t?” “Keep your stupid thoughts in your diaper where they belong on this subject,” he further added.
He then went on to reference one of Trump’s comments about the anti-ICE protestors during an interview with NBC News. On it, the president admitted that he was “not happy” with the killing of Good and Pretti. However, he further claimed that the anti-ICE protestors weren’t “angels,” either.
To this, Kimmel responded, “And second of all, while we’re identifying angels, Jeffrey Epstein was your best friend, so maybe leave angels out of the conversation.” Additionally, during the same interview, Trump also complained about the “bad publicity” his administration is getting for “two people out of tens of thousands.”
“You do thousands of arrests, you arrest thousands of rapists, you arrest thousands of the worst people, you arrest the drug dealers, I mean, we had drug kingpins, we had murderers, thousands. No incident, we bring them back to their country. Two people, it’s bad, I hate it. I hate even talking about it. Two people out of tens of thousands. Okay. And you get bad publicity,” he added.
