According to a report by PEOPLE, Luke Combs has officially withdrawn from his headlining slot at the EA Sports Madden Bowl. The event was scheduled for Friday, February 6, at the Chase Center in San Francisco. While fans were eager to see him perform, the singer shared that he needs to be with his wife, Nicole Combs. The couple is currently expecting their third child, and the arrival is imminent.

On the morning of the event, Luke shared a sincere message on his Instagram Stories. He wrote, “So sorry to miss y’all at Madden Bowl, but family always comes first. Have a great time.” This decision is especially meaningful given Luke’s past experiences. He previously expressed deep regret after missing the birth of his second son, Beau, because he was touring in Australia. This time, he is making sure he is present for every moment.

Nicole has also shared updates on her own social media. Her recent stories showed her sanitizing baby bottles, signaling that the “lil nugget” could arrive any day now. Fellow country star Zach Bryan has been announced as the replacement headliner for the Madden Bowl. Fans have been incredibly supportive of Luke’s choice. They praised him for being a dedicated “Boy Dad” to his sons, Tex and Beau, and now to their newest addition.
