Timothee Chalamet Was Dissed By Woody Allen’s Wife in Epstein Emails — Report

Woody Allen’s wife, Soon-Yi Previn, dissed Timothée Chalamet in newly released Epstein emails. Previn wrote a series of emails to disgraced Jeffrey Epstein. In the emails, she discussed the couple’s personal matters, thanked him for helping them with their daughter’s college admissions, and, of course, taunted Chalamet by calling him a “pr*ck.”

Woody Allen’s wife, Soon-Yi Previn, slammed Timothée Chalamet, calling him a “pr*ck,” in newly released Epstein emails. Outside college admissions and discussions of other political personalities, she also wrote about her and Allen’s equation with fellow celebrities. Previn shared a review of Chalamet’s 2018 film Hot Summer Nights. She wrote to Epstein, “I’m glad that pr*ck Chalamet’s movie did not get a good review. No, I’m not vindictive (via Variety).”

For those unversed, in 2018, the Oscar-nominated actor headlined Woody Allen’s A Rainy Day in New York, which Amazon was to release the next year. The streaming giant shelved it the same year, as the movie was engulfed by the ongoing MeToo movement. Media and fans alike pointed fingers at Allen and re-litigated the filmmaker’s past accusations of s**ual abuse against daughter, Dylan Farrow.

The Marty Supreme star too distanced himself from the film. Chalamet expressed regret for having worked with Allen and donated his fee for the movie to various charities. Additionally, he also wrote on Instagram, “I don’t want to profit from my work on the film.” His co-star Selena Gomez also expressed her regret and donated her fees to charity (via NME).

Besides Chalamet, Previn also thanked Epstein for helping their daughter, Bechet Allen, gain admission to New York’s Bard College. Variety reports it was thanks to a personal connection the billionaire had with school president Leon Botstein.

Previn wrote to Epstein, “I think it’s best that Bechet struggles and doesn’t know ahead of time that she got in, so that when she gets into Bard she will have sweated it out a bit and will really want to go. Thank you for coming through for us.”

Allen’s wife further added, “I can’t tell you how much this means to me. Woody said when Bechet sets fire to the school they’ll have you to thank.”
