Fans react to Cardi B’s failed robot lap dance
Cardi B’s Super Bowl party antics are making headlines. The “Up” hitmaker’s robot lap dance didn’t quite go as planned, leaving onlookers gasping in shock and rushing to her aid.
As she emerged from her San Francisco hotel on Saturday, February 7th, the 33-year-old spotted an unexpected dancing partner – a robot standing sentinel on the sidewalk. Cardi B’s playful instincts took over in no time, propelling her into a playful dance with the mechanical stranger.
As she sashayed around the robot in a black and yellow jumpsuit while rocking a pair of stilettos, the unlikely duo’s playful tango suddenly veered off beat. The robot’s mechanical legs began to wade, and Cardi B’s hips swayed just a fraction too far. Consequently, both tumble to the ground in a surprising, tangled heap.
Moments later, the “Drip” singer found herself in an unexpected position with the robot sprawled atop her. A collective gasp rippled through the crowd as onlookers promptly came to her assistance.
Moments after the incident, TMZ posted a video of the event on X, where the singer was heard saying, “Get away from my man.” It shows her treating the robot to a lap dance before things went downhill. The video went viral, but the “WAP” singer wasn’t pleased about it. She posted a comment stating, “Delete or I will sue …immediately.” Cardi B further referenced the outlet’s founder, Harvey Levin, adding, “I’m calling Harvey!”
Reacting to the video, a fan commented, “Robot.exe has stopped working.”
Cardi B was at the hotel to support her boyfriend Stefon Diggs at the 2026 Super Bowl. His team, the New England Patriots, faced the Seattle Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
