Elon Musk has offered to cover legal costs for victims of Jeffrey Epstein who want to publicly name their alleged abusers but fear being sued for doing so. The pledge came after renewed attention on Epstein-related cases during Super Bowl Sunday.

Billionaire Elon Musk made the offer while responding to an online debate surrounding Jeffrey Epstein and the people connected to him. Musk said he would personally support anyone who speaks out truthfully and then faces legal action as a result. “I will pay for the defense of anyone who speaks the truth about this and is sued for doing so,” Musk wrote on X.
Musk’s statement came in direct response to a post by conservative commentator Matt Walsh. The latter had shared a newly released PSA from women alleging abuse by Epstein and his associates. The video called on U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to “stand” with Epstein’s victims. “After years of being kept apart, we’re standing together,” some of the women said in the video. “Because this girl deserves the truth… Because we all deserve the truth,” they added, while holding up photographs of themselves from the time of their alleged abuse.
Walsh said he supported releasing all Department of Justice files related to Epstein but questioned why the women had not publicly named their alleged abusers. “These women could also just name their abusers at any time,” he wrote, suggesting that they could also provide names to members of Congress who could read them into the record to avoid legal consequences.
In a follow-up post, Walsh addressed users who argued that the women feared lawsuits. He questioned that reasoning, which prompted Musk’s response offering to cover any resulting legal fees. Moreover, Musk’s comments also came amid scrutiny of his own name appearing in a recent batch of Epstein-related documents released in late January.
