Donald Trump’s name is seemingly being protected from the Jeffrey Epstein files. That’s the speculation from Maryland Congressman Jamie Raskin, who said he got to review many of the documents released.
The member of the House Oversight Committee alleges that Trump’s name was redacted “over a million times” in those documents. He claims that the President’s name is all over the place. Millions of those documents were made public a couple of weeks ago, even though they were supposed to come out in December.
Donald Trump has denied any wrongdoing in regards to Jeffrey Epstein

The Epstein files are being deemed a huge “cover-up.” Those were among the words Jamie used to describe the matter. He believes the Department of Justice (DOJ) is sitting on millions more files related to this scandal. Jamie says there’s one document redacted, which contradicts reports that Donald banned Jeffrey from his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.
He says that he read e-mails reportedly sent by Jeffrey’s lawyers saying their client wasn’t a member of the President’s club but rather a guest. Jamie adds that the message states that Jeffrey had never been asked to leave.
Donald has long pleaded innocence in connection with Jeffrey’s scandal. He maintains that he wasn’t friendly with the sex offender. In July of last year, Trump said he booted Jeffrey from his club because he kept poaching his spa employees. An alleged letter by Jeffrey released in December claims that Donald loved “young nubile girls.”
According to the President, the ban on Jeffrey occurred before his 2006 indictment in Florida for solicitation of prostitution. Jeffrey pleaded guilty to solicitation of prostitution and solicitation of prostitution with a minor two years later.
There have been photographs of Trump on Jeffrey’s island, even though his name had been mentioned in some documents. His staff, though have said there’s nothing incriminating about the President in the files.
