RFK Jr. Makes Stunning Cocaine Confession

It is not Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s proudest moment. The former presidential candidate is opening up about one of the many bad decisions he made years ago. While inside during the coronavirus pandemic, Robert was going out to get help. He admits that he had a drug problem and that he’s been fighting to remain clean for years. Robert says that he would go to 12-step meetings to try to ensure he wouldn’t revert to that bad habit. Currently, he serves as Donald Trump’s Secretary of Health and Human Services.

COVID was among the least of RFK Jr.’s concerns. The son of late Senator Robert F. Kennedy is sharing about one demon he’s long faced, cocaine. Speaking on Theo Von’s podcast, This Past Weekend, the politician shared his struggles with drugs. “I used to snort cocaine off of toilet seats,” he confessed.

Theo and RFK Jr. met while in recovery meetings. The nephew of assassinated President John F. Kennedy says that when the pandemic hit, he had to find a new way to go to meetings. According to him, a pirate group began their own in-person meetings around that time. This was as the rest of the world was doing things virtually to social distance.

Due to his addiction, he says that he didn’t care what happened to him on the COVID front. He adds that he at least knew not treating his cocaine addiction would kill him. RFK Jr. has had a complicated relationship with his family through the years. Some people pointed the finger at him when his second wife, Mary Richardson, committed suicide in 2012. He was banned from his cousin Tatiana Schlossberg’s funeral this year. The environmental journalist died from myeloid leukemia last November.

Looking back on his addiction, RFK Jr. says it was about survival. He has been in recovery for 43 years.
