Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have attended a court-ordered settlement conference for their ongoing legal battle. The It Ends With Us co-stars were seen arriving at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Wednesday, February 11. While Baldoni arrived with his wife, Lively came in solo without her husband, Ryan Reynolds.

Lively was spotted making her way to the N.Y.C. federal courthouse after stepping out from a black SUV. The Gossip Girl actress wore a pale green suit with a pink collared shirt and carried a green handbag. Meanwhile, Baldoni sported a green ensemble, wearing an olive-green overcoat and grey trousers, finishing the look with a cream-colored scarf.

The settlement conference is a routine step in federal civil litigation, which aims to assess whether a case can be resolved without proceeding to trial. Lively and Baldoni’s settlement conference was overseen by U.S. Magistrate Judge Sarah L. Cave.

According to the latest reports, Lively and Baldoni’s legal teams have failed to reach a settlement at the six-hour meeting. Following the conference, Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, confirmed that the two parties couldn’t reach a deal. When asked if he believes the case will proceed to trial, the lawyer replied, “I do. We’re looking forward to it.”

The highly publicized legal dispute began when Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, accusing the actor and filmmaker of sexual misconduct while filming It Ends With Us. Baldoni denied the allegations and filed a countersuit, which was later dismissed by the court. The case is currently scheduled to go on trial on May 18, 2026.
