Fans are wondering what the heck is going on between Stefon Diggs and Cardi B. The pair recently unfollowed each other on Instagram, and Stefon’s strange behavior on the social media app has further fueled rumors that they have split.
Cardi B and Stefon Diggs have reportedly broken up
It has not been a good week for Stefon. The NFL star and his New England Patriots team suffered a crushing defeat to the Seattle Seahawks at the 2026 Super Bowl on February 8. And now, he’s at the center of rumors surrounding his relationship with Cardi B.
A cryptic post on Instagram is one piece of evidence that fans think could be tied to their rumored split. On February 11, Stefon posted a 20-slide carousel on Instagram, which included images of himself as well as thought-provoking quotes. “Gratitude and fear cannot coexist in the same space,” he wrote in the caption. “A reminder to control what you can control, remain thankful, and stay motivated.”
Perhaps most interesting about the post, however, is that Stefon turned the comments off. This is unusual for the NFL player, as all of his other Instagram posts still have the comment section turned on.
Although it’s unclear when Stefon and Cardi unfollowed each other on the app, or why he has turned off comments, she hasn’t had much to say about their romance.
Alongside the likes of Pedro Pascal, Cardi joined Bad Bunny for his history-making Super Bowl Halftime Show. The day before, at the Fanatics Super Bowl Party, an ESPN reporter asked Cardi if she had an inspiring message for Stefon ahead of the final game. “Good luck,” she sassily replied, before walking away.
“Oh, she mad at him,” someone said in response to the clip. “They broke up,” added another, as a third commented: “He pissed her off.”
