OnlyFans’ Piper Rockelle recently addressed the lawsuit against her mom, Tiffany Smith. In 2022, eleven content creators, who were members of “Piper’s Squad,” filed a lawsuit against Smith. They alleged that Rockelle was also a victim, but did not realise it. However, the OnlyFans star has shut down those claims once again, saying that she is closer to her mother than ever.
OnlyFans star Piper Rockelle talks about ‘Bad Influence’ lawsuit
In the 2010s, Tiffany Smith worked with a group of teens, including her own daughter, to create online content. In 2022, eleven of those content creators alleged that Smith subjected them to “inappropriate, offensive and abusive treatment,” including “wildly offensive and sexually explicit comments.” The lawsuit was settled in 2024 for $1.85 million. It became the subject of the 2025 Netflix docuseries, Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing.
In the February 12 episode of IMPACT x Nightline, Piper Rockelle revealed that the lawsuit did not ruin her relationship with her mother (via PEOPLE). She said, “I think a lot of people think that this whole entire thing would definitely bring us further apart. But this whole entire thing has just made me closer to her.”
Rockelle first rose to fame when she was just eight because her mother posted online content of her. The former child star has consistently refuted the claims that Smith abused her. She made headlines earlier this year when she joined OnlyFans, the subscription-based platform known for adult content.
In the IMPACT x Nightline interview, Rockelle’s aunt, Destinee Smith, said, “Piper definitely still comes to her mom for advice, but Tiffany never tells Piper what she should or should not do. Piper has her own mind. She makes her own decisions.” Rockelle is fully aware of the criticism surrounding her decision to join OnlyFans, but she has made it clear that she is not too bothered by it.
