Barack Obama is clarifying what appeared to be his confirmation that aliens did exist on a recent podcast.
The former President was asked whether aliens were real. His response was that they were, but he hadn’t seen them. He did confirm that they aren’t being kept at Area 51.
That sent the internet on fire this past weekend, leaving people arguably more intrigued than one of Fox Mulder’s conspiracy theories on the X-Files. All the buzz online prompted the former President to issue a statement explaining his response.
Barack Obama walked back his confirmation of alien life existing
If aliens are real, Barack wouldn’t know. He’s explaining his response on Brian Tyler Cohen’s show. In a statement on his Instagram page, Barack says that “Statistically, the universe is so vast that the odds are good there’s life out there.” That said, he admitted that he had never seen any evidence of extra-terrestrial activity.
He may not have seen any during his presidency, but the current administration seems to believe in the alien theory. In December, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that they’ve seen repeated instances of UFOs “over restricted nuclear facilities.” Given the distance between the solar systems, the former president says that the odds that we’ve been visited by aliens are low. He adds that his quick response to the alien question was to keep up with the idea that it was a speed round.
Alien activity wasn’t the only thing Barack discussed on the show. He was asked for his thoughts on the racist social media post made on President Donald Trump’s Truth Social. The former President brushed it aside, calling it a part of the clown show Donald is putting on. A member of Donald’s staff posted a video of Barack and Michelle Obama as apes. It was taken down after being universally condemned.
Last week, the current President said the person who did it hadn’t been disciplined or fired for their actions. The video was in reference to what he claimed was voter fraud. Donald believes that’s why he lost the 2020 election to Barack Obama’s former Vice President, Joe Biden.
