Naomi Campbell’s Lawyer Releases Epstein Files Statement

Naomi Campbell’s lawyer has released a statement on her behalf in relation to her mentions in the Jeffrey Epstein files. The statement comes after a new report revealed the model had more contact with the convicted sex offender than previously known.

Although inclusion in the files is not an indication of any wrongdoing, The New York Times found Naomi’s name was featured 300 times. The outlet has clarified that some of these mentions are duplicates. Nonetheless, these references appear to show Naomi was in regular contact with Epstein.

Among the files which include Naomi’s name is a document called “List of People Who Need JE’s Address.” It details information on how to correspond with Epstein in prison.

Elsewhere, email correspondence suggests Naomi asked to fly on the late financier’s private plane. There are also interviews with federal investigators. In these, unnamed victims claim Epstein introduced them to the supermodel at social events. They also claim to have seen the model in his mansion and on his island.

Responding to the findings, Naomi’s spokesperson defended her to The New York Times. “Prior to Epstein’s 2019 arrest in New York, my client knew nothing about his appalling criminal conduct,” said attorney Martin Singer. “If my client had ever encountered any young woman whom she thought was being victimized by Epstein, she would have personally taken immediate action to help her.”

Commenting specifically on the list, Martin told the outlet that Naomi had no idea who made it. He also said Naomi does not know why her name was on it.

Naomi has previously criticized Epstein, calling his actions “indefensible.”

“When I had heard what he had done, it sickened me to my stomach,” she said on her YouTube channel in 2019. “Right now, I stand with the victims. They’re scarred for life. For life.”
