Sydney Sweeney is reportedly moving forward with plans to renovate her Hollywood mansion with her ex-fiancé, Jonathan Davino. Recent reports claim that the former pair have not abandoned the home project despite ending their engagement last year. The update comes amid Sweeney’s ongoing romance with Scooter Braun.
Sydney Sweeney to renovate $6M mansion with ex, report claims
According to a recent report by The Sun, Sydney Sweeney is planning to renovate the $6 million Hollywood home that she co-owns with her ex, Jonathan Davino. The former couple purchased the Bel Air mansion at an auction in 2023. Despite going their separate ways, they have decided not to give up on the property.
Official court filings state that Sweeney and Davino purchased the mansion under a trust. They paid $250,000 above the original asking price. The documents also reveal that they secured a $4.34 million mortgage with a maturity date of June 2053, through City National Bank. The property reportedly requires renovation, and the former couple has allegedly decided to complete the upgrades.
According to the report, Davino was recently spotted overseeing the cleanup. There are reportedly also plans to renovate the pool at the mansion. A building permit application was reportedly submitted last year to install a spa with a solar-heating system, along with the pool.
Sweeney and Davino called off their engagement in early 2025, just two years after they bought the mansion. Later that year, Sweeney began dating businessman and music executive Scooter Braun after the pair attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Venice, Italy. The couple has since been spotted on multiple dates and romantic outings.
Most recently, Sweeney and Braun were seen sharing some cozy moments at Cold Spring Tavern in Santa Barbara, California. According to TMZ, the couple enjoyed a lavish outdoor meal while they hung out with their pals.
