Royal Insider Calls Ex-Prince Andrew a ‘Narcissist’ – Says He Considered Himself a ‘Victim’

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor always had a sense of entitlement. That’s according to a royal insider who isn’t buying the former Prince’s notion that he’s being unfairly treated. The second son of the late Queen Elizabeth II says that he is a “victim” amid all the negative publicity surrounding him. According to historian Andrew Lownie, the former Prince is a “narcissist.”

The brother of King Charles was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of alleged misconduct while in public office. He lost his royal titles and was previously evicted from the Royal Lodge for his affiliation with late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Throughout his life, it seems like Andrew saw himself as above the law. That’s what historian Andrew Lownie believes. The author of books like Entitlement: The Rise and Fall of the House of York told Page Six that Andrew had “never been disciplined” before.

For years, there have been suspicions that he’s displayed sketchy behavior and could have committed crimes. One of the alleged victims in Jeffrey’s sex trafficking scandal, Virginia Giuffre, claims to have been trafficked to the then-Prince. The Australian who committed suicide last year said that she and Andrew had sex when she was only 17.

Andrew apparently had a long history of inappropriate work behavior while serving as a travel envoy for the UK. It’s believed that he allegedly had 40 prostitutes come to his hotel during a trip to Thailand. Virginia previously sued Andrew for alleged sexual assault, with that case eventually settling for a reported $3 million.

In November, Andrew Lownie alleged that the former Prince’s late mom always looked the other way despite her son’s actions. That included him reportedly having prostitutes at Buckingham Palace on a regular basis.

Andrew is the first senior member of the British royal family to be arrested since King Charles I in 1647.
