Maura Higgins brought pure drama to the BAFTAs 2026 red carpet in a striking red gown that perfectly balanced old Hollywood glamour with high-fashion theatricality. She has been absolutely acing the fashion game, whether it’s a street look or a red carpet appearance. Her latest remains no exception.
Maura Higgins attends BAFTAs 2026 in a truly iconic Andrea Bocca dress
Maura Higgins donned a figure-hugging dress featuring a structured, corset-style bodice. It cinched at the waist, highlighting her hourglass figure before flowing into a sleek, floor-length skirt. Its most eye-catching detail was the sculptural neckline that appeared to be floating around her. It fanned outward in an almost gothic, chandelier-like motif. The surprises did not stop there, as it also had a black train that trailed behind her.
The piece was Look 3 from Andrea Brocca’s Haute Couture collection. In November 2023, the Italian stylist posted backstage shots of the dress on his official Instagram account. The caption read, “Backstage shots of look 3; Tiara shaped “Duchess Satin” ball gown in “Burnt Ruby,” with “Jet Black” Swarovski embroidery and a 5 meter chiffon train with tassel detailing.”
Higgins paired the dress with sheer black opera gloves that reached above her elbows, reinforcing the vintage glamour aesthetic while adding a sultry edge. She wore her hair slicked back into a sleek bun with a middle part, keeping the focus on her ornate neckline and her sharply contoured makeup. Her glam was flawlessly matte. It featured terracotta blush placed high on her cheeks, defined eyebrows, elongated black winged liner, and a muted rose-nude lip. She accessorised with diamond stud earrings and a ring.
Earlier this month, The Traitors star left fans talking with her outfit for an outing in Los Angeles. She wore a black-and-white striped minidress, Look 24 from Balmain’s Ready-to-Wear 2020 collection. The dress cinched at the waist and had voluminous sleeves. She paired it with Otra sunglasses, sheer Wolford tights, and black pointed-toe pumps from Florde Maria.
