Prince William is reportedly on the brink of falling out with Queen Camilla after issuing her an ultimatum.
It’s all to do with the Queen’s close relationship with Sarah Ferguson, who has been caught up in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Although not an indication of any wrongdoing, Sarah features frequently in the files released by the Department of Justice, which also led to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest last week.

According to Radar Online, the Prince of Wales has “massively overstepped the mark” in criticising Camilla for her friendship with Sarah.
“In his mind, the only responsible strategy is total separation from Fergie and Andy. No ambiguity, no half measures,” an insider told the outlet. “He sees drawing a hard line as the safest way to insulate the institution from further reputational harm.”
“William has been unequivocal about wanting absolute alignment within the family on this,” another source added. “There is no room, in his mind, for mixed signals or private loyalties playing out in public. He expects everyone to be on the same page.”
In his hard-line approach, William is thought to have upset some senior royal figures. “There is talk in certain circles that he may be stepping outside the boundaries of his current role,” an insider said, claiming that William has hit Camilla “with an ultimatum to stay away from Fergie.”
This, according to the insider, has caused tension with King Charles. “After all, Charles is still on the throne, and constitutionally the authority rests with him. Some feel it is not William’s place to be dictating terms so forcefully,” the source suggested. “It creates the perception that the crown is effectively his already, even though, formally, it is not.”
