Season 10 of Summer House is all about change. They’ve got new roommates, a looming divorce, and a few castmates who have clearly aged out of their roles. We won’t name names, but with all of that in mind, the production company behind the show is looking to expand.
We know that Bravo already greenlit In The City, a Summer House spinoff starring Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, and Lindsay Hubbard. However, the production company behind the long-running series is looking to expand the franchise. It’s almost like we’ve been down this road before.
Summer House production company Truly Original is looking for new spinoff locations

Truly Original, the production company behind Summer House are brainstorming how to expand the franchise. The production company’s co-founders, Glenda Hersh and Steven Weinstock, spoke to Deadline about their plans.
Of course, we’ve already had a couple of Summer House spinoffs. Winter House ran for three seasons before Bravo pulled the plug in 2023. The all-Black edition of the franchise, Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard, got cut short after only two seasons. Fans are still trying to wrap their heads around that strange decision.
Either way, with Summer House hitting all-time highs in viewership, the brains at Truly Original know that now is the time to start expanding. They have something very specific in mind, clearly not Martha’s Vineyard.
“The show has a very specific architecture in terms of its narrative. So, finding that is what we’re endeavoring to do,” Steven explained. “There are actually two potential places that we’re looking at, so once we find a place where the architecture is correct, we’ll begin the casting process.“
Steven said that the most important element is having a place where people go on weekends before returning to their city lives during the week.
He continued, “It can’t be a week or 10 days. That won’t work. We tried that with Winter House, and it became clear that the storytelling wasn’t quite as sticky as we needed it, which was related to the fact that we didn’t spend enough time shooting.”
So, there are two potential new Summer House locations under consideration. They’re also thinking about adopting the In The City format and building around it. They want to make spinoffs of the spinoff.
“In The City, while it’s a spinoff of Summer House, it might be its own specific new franchise,” Glenda predicted. “We could even take it a step further. In success of In The City, you might be able to, and we are looking into the possibility of, having the cast that does not come from a Summer House, but starts as an In The City.”
Summer House airs on Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. You can stream it the next day on Peacock.
