Cardi B brushed off her latest viral moment with humor after an unexpected on-stage mishap grabbed headlines. The Grammy-winning rapper addressed the trap door fall that occurred during her recent tour stop, insisting the incident was not her fault.
Cardi B said this after on-stage trap door fall
The moment went down during the February 22 stop of Cardi B’s Little Miss Drama Tour at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena. Mid-performance, she suddenly slipped through an open trap door onstage. The fall caught fans off guard. Cardi, however, stayed cool. She quickly waved to the crowd while the lights dipped, and a dancer helped her back on her feet.
The next morning, the rapper hopped on X (formerly Twitter) to react to the viral clip. She played it off with humor and brushed off the blame. Cardi joked that she gets “a little clumsy” when she moves too fast and too hyped. She added, “FUCK IT WE BALL.. but no seriously yesterday wasn’t even my fault.”
The Seattle slip wasn’t the only recent onstage oops for Cardi B. Earlier, at the February 13 stop inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, she tumbled off a chair while performing the “Thotiana” remix. But she bounced back fast and kept the show moving (via Complex).
Cardi later cracked jokes and playfully blamed the “government,” which sparked a cheeky exchange online with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The agency’s X account fired off a quip about her past controversies. Cardi didn’t let it slide. She clapped back by bringing up the Jeffrey Epstein files and questioned why officials were not focusing on that issue instead.
“If we talking about drugs, let’s talk about Epstein and friends drugging underage girls to r**e them. Why y’all don’t wanna talk about the Epstein files?” Cardi wrote on X.
