Weeks after depicting the Obamas as apes, Donald Trump used Truth Social to reshare a post from far-right activist Laura Loomer, who accused Michelle Obama of being an “anti-White racist.” Loomer and Trump warned about a possible Netflix-Warner Bros. deal. They suggested it could benefit the Obamas’ production company, Higher Ground Productions, which makes projects for Netflix.
Donald Trump reshares post calling Michelle Obama ‘anti-white racist’
Donald Trump’s Truth Social post on Saturday came just two weeks after he shared a video that depicted the Obamas as apes — and now, he called Michelle Obama an “anti-White racist.” Loomer’s post shows her tagging Netflix and board member Susan Rice. She argues that Democrats would pursue an “accountability agenda” against companies and people tied to Trump, while also calling Netflix “WOKE.”
Trump reshared Loomer’s post with his own caption aimed at Rice, who served as a national security adviser in the Obama administration and now sits on Netflix’s executive board. Trump wrote, “Netflix should fire racist, Trump Deranged Susan Rice, IMMEDIATELY, or pay the consequences.” He continued, “She’s got no talent or skills – Purely a political hack! HER POWER IS GONE, AND WILL NEVER BE BACK. How much is she being paid, and for what??? Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJT.”
Per PEOPLE, Trump’s repost came days after Rice discussed corporate pressure and potential investigations during an appearance on former U.S. attorney Preet Bharara’s podcast. Rice said, “I think they’ve got another thing coming,” referring to companies that she believes had to bend to political pressure. She added, “You know, companies already are starting to hear they better preserve their documents. They better be ready for subpoenas.”
Furthermore, Trump faced backlash for depicting the Obamas as apes. However, he told reporters, “No, I didn’t make a mistake.” Now, Donald Trump’s latest Truth Social post keeps the focus on his online attacks. This reignited criticism over how he attacks Michelle Obama, the former first lady.
