Nancy Guthrie Update Today: Daughter Savannah Offers Reward of $1 Million

Savannah Guthrie and her family are offering a substantial monetary award for the return of their mother, Nancy Guthrie.

In a new appeal on social media, the NBC host notes that it has been 24 days since Nancy was last seen alive. She told her followers that “every night has been agony” for the family, as they worry for her well-being. She thanked those who had been praying for the mother-of-three’s wellbeing, and that they “still believe” she can return to them.

In the caption of the video, Savannah had a message for those who may have information regarding Nancy’s disappearance. “Someone knows how to find our mom and bring her home,” she wrote.

She then provided instructions. “Call 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) — you can remain anonymous — or find a way to reach out to me.”

Additionally, Savannah admitted that her family is aware that their mother “may already be gone home to the Lord that she loves.” “If this is what is to be, we will accept that,” she said.

“But we need to know where she is,” the Today host added. “We need her to come home.”

“For that reason, we are offering a family reward of up to $1 million for any information that leads to her recovery,” she went on to reveal. “Someone out there knows something that can bring her home.”

She then went on to say, “Somebody knows. And we are begging you, to please come forward now.”

The Guthrie family also pledged $500,000 to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. “We know that we are not alone in our suffering,” she said. “We know that there are millions of families that have suffered with this kind of uncertainty.”

The broadcaster acknowledged other families who have been through similar struggles. “We are hoping that the attention that has been given to our mom, and our family, will extend to other families. Like ours, who need prayers, who need support.”

In a closing statement, Savannah appealed to those who know about Nancy’s abduction, telling them, “This is your sign” to come forward. “Please be the light in the dark.”
