Paige DeSorbo is usually very open about her life. Now, she’s getting candid about a chronic health battle she’s been facing. The former Summer House star spoke with a podcast about how she frequently gets urinary tract infections and how she’s been dealing with them.
Paige DeSorbo says she gets “so many” chronic UTIs
“I get so many UTIs, like chronic UTIs,” Paige shared on the Broad Ideas podcast (at 10:50 mark). “So if I ever slept with someone and got a UTI, I was like, ‘I’m sorry, we’re not compatible.’”
The reality TV veteran also shared that she was trying a new approach to dealing with and, hopefully, reducing the number of UTIs she gets. This includes the new supplements she’s taking and how they have been working (so far).
“My most recent thing that I have been doing is I take a cranberry supplement twice a day,” Paige shared. “And then I take an oregano supplement. And I’m usually on a pretty (regular schedule) — like, every four months I’ll get one. February, I should get one, but I haven’t yet,” Paige revealed.
She added, “I don’t wanna jinx it, but also like, I’m trying this new regimen out.” The podcast co-host Olivia Allen added that she has faced similar UTI problems. Paige noted that UTIs need a cure because they can be “debilitating.” She shared that in college, she could still do things even with a UTI, but as she got older, they would debilitate her.
“I wouldn’t be able to move off of the toilet literally,” Paige said. “I’d have to pee every four seconds.”
And to be fair, Paige said that UTIs don’t necessarily correlate to her romantic partners, saying most likely they aren’t related. That’s good news for Paige’s partners — her current beau, and her former partner, Southern Charm star Craig Conover. Paige and Craig split up in 2024 after dating for three years.
Despite dealing with UTIs, Paige remains booked and busy. Since leaving Summer House, she’s had several gigs, including being on the set of The Devil Wears Prada, making an appearance on Love Island, and hosting the red carpet pre-show for The Actor Awards on Netflix on March 1st.
